Jonathan Corbett is a bounty hunter and when he is comissioned to hunt down a Mexican bandit accused of raping a young woman, he doesn't turn down the deal. The Mexican bandit, Cuchillo, is not easy to capture, though, and during the hunt, Corbett begins to question Cuchillo's guilt and is at last drawn into a larger conflict.
